Math HomeworkIn math, students are to complete problems from their weekly math sheet. The problems they receive directly align with what students are learning in the classroom. As a parent, if you could check their homework and help them where they are struggling that would be really powerful. Sometimes, we just need to see a math problem solved a different way for it to make sense to us. Show them how you solve the problem! It will most likely help them understand better.

Reading HomeworkEvery evening, students should be reading for at least 30 minutes. When they finish, they should choose ONE choice board activity to complete. They can complete their activity on the back of the choice board (there is a spot for every day). The activities directly relate with what students are learning and practicing in class. On Fridays, their homework will be collected and graded.
Remember, the more your student reads, the better they become at it. Encourage them to read and to read frequently! |
